Tytan's 8 & 9 Month Updates

 Well once again my updates have gotten a little behind, poor third child.  Honestly its more because my list of things have gotten longer not that I don't snap pictures of this cutie pie all the time. I promise, he knows what the camera is for.

This little man has made some huge developmental progress in the last few months.  He started to crawl the week before his nine month mark.  It was perfect.  He was crawling in time to tell his doctor about it at his check up but hadn't been getting into everything for very long. Trust me, he is in to everything now.  Not long after he discovered crawling he started pulling himself up on things and now nothing is safe.  I really honestly thought that my house was still child proof but the truth was, it was not Tytan proof. He is one very busy little man.  If I turn my back for a second something is being de-shelved or eaten (I pull so much stuff out of his mouth).

Tytan does not deny food, he will basically eat anything. He is very driven by food and the promise of food.  He will even beg for some food from under the table while sisters slowly eat their breakfast.  This helped with his check up because he finally made it back on the growth chart. *CLAP* His doctor came in the room and clapped for him.  He is finally in the 3rd percentile for weight.  Hopefully we can keep him on the chart but now that he is cruising everywhere I am not sure it will.  

His stats at his doctors appointment are:

Weight: 15lbs 15.5oz            3%

Height: 28inches            30%

Head Measurement: 18inches      65%

We love this little man, he certainly brightens up our days.  His sisters still absolutely adore him. Kenlee can always get a laugh out of him.  Jordyn has a great (intense) love for her brother.  They are finally starting to figure out how to play together for short periods of time.  This does open up a little free time for me which is strange.  I check on them A LOT but they do so well.

Moments in Time: February 2015

February had some great little memories.  These are some of my favorite posts, seeing life from our day to day moments. Finding simple joys.

This is a preschool project that Kenlee brought home.  I love anything with her tiny hand prints. I love the adorable penguin!

Kenlee and Jordyn finally getting to wear their Christmas dresses. Adorable!

Colton brought his dads razor over to take the girls for a spin.  They loved every moment! Their Uncle Colton spoils them and we love him for it.

We finally have a white shirt for Tytan again so the father and son ties are back and handsome as ever!

We got rock band for the xbox and the whole family loves to play. It gets pretty intense!

Valentine's Day 2015

Our Valentine's Day was pretty low key and lots of fun. The morning was spent getting every dressed in their cute outfits and fancy hair.  I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of Kenlee's heart hair but it was one of our favorites.  She still talks about it. Then we went over to Gammie and Poppies house to play and wait for Daddy to get off of work.

Daddy spoiled us with beautiful flowers again.  They were gorgeous.  Kenlee and Jordyn loved getting flowers like mommy and were always asking to smell them.  Blake also spoiled me with some very needed jeans. Daddy made us dinner and then we played Sorry while eating some of our candy from the day. On the Friday before Kenlee had her Valentine's Day party at preschool and was sweet enough to share with her sister.

The following Monday we made chocolate sugar cookies. It is still messy to make cookies with the girls but they are getting to a great age for it.  They love to help with the cookie cutters. I love making cookies with my kids with each holiday. Their eyes light up and it is so great to have these traditions and memories together. 

I know his eyes are blurry but it was hilarious to watch him stick his finger in sisters earring. 

Happy Birthday Blake!

Blake's birthday this year was a week long celebration like normal.  We really love to spoil him. The girls were really excited for Dad's birthday and helped plan his party and shop for his gift. This year's cake was a peanut butter cheese cake with reese peanut butter cups and melted peanut butter and chocolate on top.  It sounds really intense, and it was, but it was my favorite one by far and I am not a peanut butter person.  I will definitely be making it again. Blake chose to go to Texas Road House again and the girls had a great time hanging out with Dad. We all had a great time eating yummy food and watching line dancing.

Moments in Time: January 2015

January was kind of a sad month because of how sick our kids were but their were still some great moments caught.

These two love to chill together. 

He thinks the bouncer is so fun.... as long as we are watching him. We are not aloud to abandon him.

Aunt Karlee helped Tytan play with his first play dough.  He thought it was pretty amazing. If we could convince him not to eat it I would let him play more often.

Kenlee decided that she needed to "share" her stickers with her brother. At least he thinks it was funny.

After Mom found strip gum for the grand kids, we discovered they still had the temporary tattoos and tried them out.  We are pretty hard core!

Poor Kenlee ended up in the instacare the last Saturday in January with a 105 fever.  It was pretty scary but our sweet girl was a trooper.  She was scared but was so tough.  We still don't know why her fever spiked that bad but they figure her body was really fighting her cold.  I still don't know how she walked in and wasn't out of it and lethargic. Very high pain tolerance. 

2015: The New Year

We had another wonderful beginning to the new year with all our family in Idaho.  A lot of my Aunts, Uncles and Counsins & their kids were able to get together to have a yummy lunch of soup & rolls and lots of delicious desserts. After all the food and chatting were done several of us headed over to my Aunt Laretta's to play games.  We had way to much fun and several of us even ended up on the floor and bruised. I always love games with the family.

The first Sunday of the year we took pictures of all the kids.  I wanted to see how much they change over the year.

Kenlee Jean is a CTR 5 this year.  She has been having a great time and loves her teachers.  She has gained a few freedoms and thinks that is pretty cool.

Miss Jordyn is still in nursery.  She was just a few months shy of being 3 so she gets a whole year more of nursery. She is completely ok with this because she loves toys and snacks.  She has however started being shy to go to class because she had missed so much being sick this winter.

Tytan is loving coming to classes with mom and dad. He is always very helpful when mom is teaching and likes to distract me. We have a lot of fun together pretending to go to relief society.  He is really struggling with our new church schedule because it begins when he should be going down for his big nap.  I really hope he figures out a way to sleep at church.

Whenever we take pictures these cuties always want one together.

They may have their moments when I think they can't possible get along but they are each others best friends and love to be together (most of the time.)

I really hope this year is full of great memories and fun moments together as our family of 5!
