Moments in Time: July 2016

My Fourth of July Cuties!

Our Fourth of July was spent with family in Idaho. We took the kids to the Paris parade and then enjoyed visiting at a BBQ at my Aunt Laretta's house. I look forward to this every year. I can't remember ever missing the Paris parade and its so fun to pass this tradition on to my kids.

Jordyn and Dylan enjoying Popsicles under the trampoline.

Tytan was so worn out that he fell asleep before we got to the canyon. He had his light sticks hanging out of his mouth most of the way home and sleepy cap balanced on his lap. Such talent!

When the movie is just too exciting to sit back and watch...

Fruit snacks on the Gammie and Poppy's bench after piano lessons.

After a busy day of piano lessons, mowing the lawn, playing at Gammie's, a trip to the library, lunch at Taco Bell, quick trip to Walmart where each kiddo got to pick out an item, drinks from Chugs, nap time, bike riding around Hyde Park looking for Pokeman and a BBQ in our backyard we took the kids to Pink's for a snowie. We were exhausted but it was what summer days were made for.

The girls found a buggie friend that was slowly dragging a pink sprinkle across the table. It was the talk of the night.

The Smithfield Library hosted a Zoo day at the library. An educational person came from the Zoo with several of their animals and taught the kids little things about them. The kids loved to see the tortoise walk around!

After Zoo day we had a fun little picnic in the backyard.

Hey mom, your breakfast is delicious.... Stinker!

While preparing for Brady to come home we tested the bows for the girls in Tytan's hair.....

he honestly didn't want me to take them out once we had taken pictures... funny little boy!

I swear this kid is always Captain America in some form or another!

Tytan has been having a rough time going to nursery for about a month, he screams and cries as soon as the closing Hymn starts.  We keep working on it and as long as the nursery leads just take him he honestly stops screaming after about a minute. Unfortunately one Sunday the nursery leaders had there hands full of screaming kiddos (there must be something in the water) so Tytan was aloud to come with me. He slinked out and down the wall. Stinker bug!

The day before Brady came home we made posters to hold at the airport. The kids LOVED it!

Jordyn and Daddy waiting at the airport for Uncle Brady to come! We made shirts for each of the kiddos. Jordyn didn't want to take pictures but her shirt says "I still have my sassy pants!"

Kenlee was so excited, she could not stand waiting for him. That is why her shirt says "It's My Uncle Brady!"

Tytan was so tired of waiting, he is a fast pace kind of kid. His shirt says "He's Coming HOME!" inside a missionary tag. Super fun!

He is HOME!!! We all hugged and gushed over him of course. We gathered for a group picture and of course Tytan then peed down my side.... true mommy moment.

So sweet!

Jordyn hugged Brady and then almost let go but then dived back in for another hug. I wondered if we were going to have a hard time getting her to let go of him.

This little man was so tired after his exciting no nap day picking up Uncle Brady, we seriously stripped him down to his nakies for a tubby and he still didn't wake up. I carried him in to the tub and finally held him out away from me and that woke him.....

Sometimes you use pretzels when cucumbers are not available when relaxation is needed.

We finally figured out how to help little man enjoy parades. Sound muffling headphones and this kid dances and waves and has a great time!

Plus he got to see his favorite, BIG BLUE. He seriously looks at this picture all the time.

Poppy and Uncle Brady did a speed lawn mowing when we got home from the parade and Tytan begged for his headphones. I guess there are just sounds that bug him.... He also got a pickle and who wouldn't be happy about that!

Our first boating trip out with Poppy! Tytan is in love with the new Spiderman life jacket. This could become a fight.....

Cutiest flag boy ever!

When your so tired you fall asleep with your lovie still in your mouth! Summer is wearing on him.

We took the kids camping with my family the end of July. It was unusually hot but we had such a good time. This is the cute little face that I woke up to every morning. We went hiking, truck hiking, huckleberry picking and of course played in the dirt. Total success! I camp for my kids!
