Holy Moly She is 6!

This birthday was a very rough one for Mommy. I am seriously still in denial that this sweet girl has grown so much and has turned 6!  It was just yesterday that we were bringing this sweet baby girl home from the hospital and I was trying to figure out motherhood. In a blink of an eye she is now a beautiful little girl with such a sweet, all be it sassy, personality.

Birthday Girl! Big 6!
Kenlee was so incredibly excited for her birthday that near the beginning of August she made her own count down calendar and checked off each day til her birthday.  Her birthday was not only exciting because of all the usual reasons, it was also a big count down point til Kindergarten.  She started Kindergarten the day after her birthday so it was a very big and exciting week for our girl.

Kenlee decided to have a Minion themed birthday party.  She woke up to balloon around her bed and several of them were minions.  She loved it! Then we took this girl to Sam's Club for lunch (we needed to run in for diapers and my girls think that eating at Sam's Club is a treat.)

During the kiddos down time/nap time Blake put dinner in the crock pot and I started to assemble Kenlee's adorable minion cake.  Per the usual it was touch and go whether I would pull it off but when Kenlee got done watching her movie she was tickled with her cake and kept wanting to look at it (which was sweet but tricky since it was so hot and I had to hide the cake in the refrigerator to keep it from melting.)

We had a huge family dinner that evening. Kenlee picked ranch chicken tacos, carrots (Karlee had to cook them since she makes them the best) & special drinks.

Once everyone was done eating we all gathered around the birthday girl to open her gifts. She was so spoiled by all those who love her.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich sent her this sweet animal card.
Great Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich also sent her this sweet puppy.  Kenlee named him Sparks because of his sparkly eyes.

Karlee made this amazingly cute gift bag! Isn't she talented?!?

Karltonia gave Kenlee these adorable pink rain boots.  Kenlee LOVES them and we have defiantly found useful times for them.

Aunt Tiffany wrapped Kenlee's gift like a minion. Isn't he so adorable?!?

Aunt Tiffany, Uncle Brock and Porter gave Kenlee these cute sticker books. We love to take them to church and the girls are forever entertained!

Gammie and Poppie got this beautiful dress for Kenlee. It instantly became her first day of school outfit!
Gammie and Poppie also got Paddington.  Kenlee loves Paddington and we have watched it several times!
Uncle Nato and Uncle Brady (pretty good from his mission huh?) got this minion haircut play dough station. Kenlee can't wait til we get a rainy day to play! Maybe Nato will have to come too!
Grandma Tuke came with a gift bag of goodies! This apron....
a Hello Kitty water paints.......
an adorable Minnie Mouse puzzle.....

& this paddle ball.
She loves her Grandma Tuke. We all do!
An adorable Aggie sweatshirt for this cute Aggie Girl from Grandma and Papa Daines
Grandma and Papa Daines also gave her this cute tea set. Its very fancy!
Daddy, Jordyn, Tytan and I got her dream gift, the frozen scooter she had been asking about!
Of course when we were done with gifts we went straight to the cake!  Kenlee only had eyes for the eye. It was a york peppermint pattie with a ton of frosting stacked on top with a junior mint for the pupil.  I was surprised how much she ate before it got to be too much. Funny Girl!

Rain boots and a scooter.... this mad me nervous.
The next time Jess and Jeff came up we all got together for Sunday dinner.  They also brought up a sweet gift for the birthday girl. Aunt April also spoiled her with another wonderful Jim Shore figurine.

This Rapunzel figurine is adorable and a beautiful addition to Kenlee's room.
Jess, Jeff and Kenzie knew Kenlee has been in love with Jasmine since meeting her in Disneyland so they gave her this cute Jasmine doll!

Kenlee's birthday week was jam packed so we didn't get to take her for her birthday dinner out til the following Wednesday. This year Kenlee picked Pizza Pie Cafe.  We sat in one of the tiny booths and it was cozy.  I think we  have out grown the tiny booths.  Kenlee loves the pasta and salad bar and everyone loves the pizza. It was a great night out.

Kenlee's well check went great. She is healthy and growing!
