Kenlee all of sudden decided this summer that she really wanted to learn to ride her bike without any training wheels. At first she really didn't get the concept of balancing her bike but one night while she was out in the garage with Poppi, she sat on the bike and just scooted around on it with her feet. It was like a light bulb went on in her head and she realized what it felt like to balance her bike and she just took off. My dad come in quickly to get me and we all went out to the garage to watch a very excited little girl show us her new skills. Once things settled out at our house with the new baby, Blake took the training wheels off of her bike at home and she has been zooming around ever since. There are times she gives us all a heart attack because she turns so sharp I am sure she will wreck and take all the skin off her legs. I am so excited that she decided to learn to ride her bike all on her own and proud of her for learning so quickly.
Jordyn has also finally decided that her bike is amazing. She loves to ride with her big sister and show us all how fast she is while trying to keep up with everyone. If you are out watching her ride you are almost guaranteed to hear her ask "Want to see me go fast?" with a sly smile on her face. We are loving the summer fun!
