Blake's Graduation

On May 3rd Blake graduated from Utah State University with his bachelors in Human Movement Science: Pre-Physical Therapy. I am so incredibly proud of him and all that he has been able to accomplish in the last few years.  He has managed to juggle working full time, being a full time student and also being a full time father and husband. He has put countless hours of time into all these areas of life and at times has barely slept but has still been able to seamlessly juggle all he has needed to do. He has given up free time almost in its entirety.

His graduation was at one so I had a chance to take some fun pictures of Daddy and his girls all dressed to celebrate.

Once we arrived at the university Blake had to go line up for graduation while the girls and I headed into the spectrum to find seats.  While they lined up Blake was able to get a picture with some of his friends that he has gone through classes with through out the years.

The graduation was actually one of the better graduations that I have been to in my life.  The speeches were funny and not long winded. The longest part was the reading of the names of course.  Because of the way the College of Science is broken up, they could only read each college on its own so it took a little extra time.  Once Blake made it up to have his name read everyone couldn't help but cheer for him including Jordyn who "whistled" and yelled for Daddy. Jess was able to make her way down to the floor to catch some pictures of Blake on the stand with his diploma.

After the graduation was over we stepped outside and took a few pictures of the family. Jordyn was feeling moody because she had missed nap time so this was the only one that turned out but we got one. We continued his graduation celebration with family at Pizza Pie Cafe. Once we had finished lunch we headed back to our place to have treats outside.  I dipped rice crispy treats and pretzels in blue chocolate. There was also blue sprinkle covered marshmallows.

Congratulation Blake!  I love you and am so proud of you!  On to our next great adventure!

  1. Your journey reminds me so much of ours. We were expecting our third when zac graduated. Way to go for pushing through to the end while still doing the most important work of having a family. You guys are awesome! Congratulations!
