Family Camp 2015

This years camp was wonderful, exhausting, busy and packed with fun!  I would probably have to count this as one of my more favorite years of camping.  My three kiddos had a fantastic time and got to enjoy so many adventures. To mix things up we ended up camping in Paris canyon.

Wednesday evening on our way up to the campsite poor Kenlee got car sick.  It was hot and bouncy and she is her mother's daughter and has very little warning before she throws up.  We were seriously 2 minutes from the site. Luckily she mostly got my plastic car mat and her travel pillow (which I made and decided to just throw out and make another later.)  After a brief clean up we finally arrived and quickly set up our tent before we lost the sun light.  For dinner we had very delicious hobo dinners. Karlee turned us on to sausage in our dinners and it was fantastic!

Through out the next few days we enjoyed many activities like huckleberry picking, hiking the Paris ice caves, repelling and lots of swimming in the dirt.  Kenlee was a natural mountain goat when it came to climbing all the rocks around the ice caves.  She gave Blake such bad anxiety with her free spirit climbing. Jordyn loved her huckleberry picking. She picked with her bestie Cheryl. Jordyn insists that Cheryl and her are going to Disneyland together and that Cheryl will bring her little dog too.  That girl is always making us smile and laugh. Tytan was fondly nicknamed Pigpen because of his constant dirt cloud.  That tiny boy was always swimming in the powdery dirt! He was so busy and kept us running.  He also really enjoyed huckleberry picking, he quickly learned which were the good berries and happily picked and ate as much as daddy would allow.  

I got to repel for the first time and loved it! I could really get into it if I had some free time. I am so grateful that my dad takes the time to share his interests with me.  Most of our nights were very restless. I slept on the air mattress with all three kids most of the time. We will find other arrangements next year. But other then that we really had a great time.

Moments in Time: July 2015

Tytan thinks that Grammie's brown juice (Dr Pepper) is very tasty, he was chugging as fast as he could!

How could you not buy lemonade from this cutie!  Aunt Karlee helped her set up her stand, she had been begging to do one all summer!  Everyone came to buy some, she had great support.

Fireworks, BBQ's and Fun: Forth of July 2015

Our Forth of July weekend was defiantly jam packed.  We had 4 BBQ's, tons of fireworks, a parade and lots of family and friends. We started Thursday evening with a neighborhood bbq. Everyone gathered in the culdisac and shared great food and good laughs.  Kenlee and Jordyn even made a few new friends that they spent the evening playing with. The whole evening was filled with fireworks. All the boys spent the night lighting off anything they could.

 Friday Evening was the Logan fireworks.  The Olson's were kind and invited us back to Grandpa Johnson's house to bbq and watch from his fantastic view.  We ate TONS of yummy food and settled in to watch the fireworks.  Grandma even spoiled to kids with glow stick necklaces.

 Saturday was a absolutely busy and fun packed day. We left around 10 in the morning to head to Bear Lake to see the Paris parade.  This has been a tradition for me since I can remember. I love taking my kids and it always great to get to see my family.  After the parade we went back to Laretta's house to bbq and visit. Blake was working during the day so unfortunately we had to hurry back so that we could spend some holiday time with Daddy. It is always hard to leave when we are having so much fun.  Once we got back to the valley we literately pulled into the driveway long enough to pick Blake up off the porch and then headed over to the Daines for another family party. Jess and Jeff were up so we got to play.  The girls always love to see Kenzie and the weather was so nice that they spent the evening running around and playing in the bounce castle.  The big boys, Jeff and Blake, prepared a marvelous firework preformance! Their firework so is always so funny!  

Moments In Time: June 2015

Tytan had some pretty mean shots at his year check up. We did our grocery shopping after his appointment and by the end he is pretty miserable. It was so sweet to see Kenlee soothe him. Needless to say, we hurried home to help the boy.

Poor Jordyn was having a rough day and when she came to me like this it just made me laugh. Summed up the whole day!

Kenlee is always so sweet to care for her brother, she pushed him around a lot this summer.

Kenlee's artistic skills blossomed this summer. She was always covering the cement with beautiful chalk drawings. Houses, princesses, suns, flowers, fruit. It was amazing!

Shortly after we moved upstairs we had some visitors in our backyard.  They stayed and hung out in the shade for hours. The kids loved watching out the patio door.

There was quite a bit of road construction this summer in front of our house and Tytan was thrilled.  He LOVED watching all the tractors.  It was heaven!

Just as I am at my wits end with trying to get this stinker to settle in for a nap at church, he makes up for all his antics with these sweet cuddles!

The girls and I took a girls date and sent the boys off the the Lee's Car Show. We ended up having lunch at Fizz n Fryz.

I love girls days with my silly cuties! 

These three are truly great friends, they may have their moments where they are bugging each other but you can almost always find them together!

We took the girls to go see Mary Poppins preformed by the Four Season Theater Company. They loved every moment and we all had a great time! It is now one of their favorite movies

But of course Jordyn had funny faces to pull at the beginning of the show!

Calvin and Tytan shared snacks while we sorted pizza orders.  Tytan was kind enough to lend his bib to Calvin!

This is a rare moment for our little tazmanin devil.  He was so pooped after pizza orders that he fell asleep in the car, he stayed asleep while I carried him in and sleep for quite a while on the floor.
