Moments in Time: August 2016

Kenlee and I were playing with the idea of growing her bangs out. I am not sure I am ready for that.... Luckily we had family pictures coming so we had to cut them at least one more time and can keep thinking about it.

2 days before family pictures little man fell out of a stroller and hit his face on the sidewalk. Poor little man ripped of a good chunk of his eyebrow.

We received 2 recalls on our van that needed attention so Blake took it down to Ogden, the nearest Kia dealership, to have it taken care of. This left us with the little Mirage. It was funny for a day..... 

I took the kids to the Bear Lake County Fair. After an hour and a half of watching them show sheep this is how the kiddos felt.

We got the kids some lunch, wiggle time and of course a creamy and they felt a lot happier to watch them show cows. 

Tytan was so filthy!!! He peed out 3 times and played in the sawdust/dirt. This included the boys filling Tytan's onsie with sawdust! Oh wow. He was naked on the way home to say the least.

Blake had enchiladas ready for us when we got home from the fair. Tytan continued his day of being filthy. I pre-bathed him it was that bad.

Our last summer hurrah before school started was a movie indoor camp out! This of course included oven smores... Yummy!

My sweet hubby brought home these beautiful flowers for me after YMs for our 9 year first date anniversary. He is so cute and always surprising me. He is a keeper, that is for sure!

Kenlee's 7th Birthday

7? Really? Where did that time go? Every birthday for this little cutie seems to leave me in disbelief. I love the little lady that she is becoming. She is sweet and helpful. I can count on her to be my big helper as I juggle things with the other kids. I know that she will be an awesome helper when Baby Bean arrives.

This year was a fun first for Kenlee. She had her birthday while in school! School started 2 days before her birthday but she still got the chance to celebrate her birthday at school. Her teacher this year sends home a bag for her to put things she loves in. Kenlee loved filling the bag to show her class! We also had to quickly fill out a All about Me paper for Kenlee and send it back to be used on her birthday. This helpful little paper is how I found out that Kenlee was hoping for Jelly Beans for her birthday, something she hadn't really told anyone. Man was I lucky.

Jordyn, Tytan and I hit the store and found 7 Kenlee items for her 7th birthday, including Jelly Beans! We picked out an Aggie shirt, bermuda shorts, jelly beans, starburt minis, "kid lipstick", gel pens and a glitter notebook. It was so fun and Jordyn was really into coming up with the ideas for the gifts.

This years theme was school. We decorated in all the colors of a crayon box. Her cake was a little crayon box too. Kenlee was thrilled. I always love waiting to see what she is going to come up with for her birthday theme, she is always so creative!

A few days before her actual birthday we took her out for her birthday dinner. She picked Pizza Pie Cafe this year which everyone loves. We had such a great time! Kenlee loves the salad bar and on our way back to the table a lady stopped us just amazed at her plate of veggies, especially the broccoli. She just came that way, always eating her veggies!

We had a lot of family come for Kenlee's birthday this year. It was so fun to have a full house and 6 little kiddos running around playing. It was definitely loud and busy but so so much fun!

Grandma Tuke spoiled Kenlee with fun school supplies. Kenlee was so excited, she actually told me a week before that she was worried that because school started before her birthday that she might not get any school supplies... What a girl!

Grandma and Poppa got her a pet salon Friends lego set. She had looked at this set several times and was very excited.

Karlee, Colton and Livi know our girl so well. An artbox set! She can't wait til she gets a chance to play with it all.

Grammie and Poppy gave Kenlee this adorable Minnie shirt and her first pet. She received her first beta fish in an adorable Finding Dory tank. Because of its deep blue color she named her Dory.

Hannah, Mitch and Leila brought some adorable new school outfits for Kenlee. So CUTE!

Great Grandma and Papa sent a very cute school outfit for Kenlee. It is so freaking cute!
