7 Months Baby Girl!

I am a little behind but our sweet Jordyn is 7 months old! She is truly a smiling and happy baby.  We love her more and more each day! 

She loves to play peek-a-boo.

She LOVES food, food and more food.

She would rather sit up now then lay back.

She will eat anything, no flavor is bad.

She has begun playing with toys for long periods of time.

I love her smiles, it makes you want to pinch her cheeks.

She thinks she will slide across the floor if she supermans long enough.

Still a mommies girl.... but I love it.

She is starting to eat more solids such as yogurt melts.

Loves to talk to herself in the mornings.

Our Halloween Begins

Today was the start of our month long Halloween crafts, party, cooking and dressing up.  The girls got to decorate pumpkins with stickers at Grandma and Grandpa Daines today and kicked off our Halloween. As you can see I also spoiled the girls with Halloween pajamas, I couldn't help it, they were just too cute!  Hopefully this is just the beginning and there will be many more fun pictures to come as the month goes on.

Happy 70th Grandma Tuke

Thursday night we celebrated our sweet Grandma Tuke's 70th birthday.  And when we throw a party, we throw an AMAZING party. :)

The evening started out with a wonderful sweet and sour stir-fry dinner.  We had all the fixings including egg rolls!  I am still craving more. Then we gave her our gift, the new grandmother willow tree figurine. Then to top it off, we had delicious cheesecake squares and sparkling cider.

Our Summer Winding Down

As I was going through the pictures on my camera I found a few sets of pictures that I had forgotten about.  These are a few of our last summer activities.

My dad was recently involved in a rather large band project, he built a ton of black screen panels for the color guard to duck behind on the field to switch out flags.  This took him countless hours.  Fortunately he had a cute little project manager out in the garage with him. Kenlee loves to help her Poppi with his projects and can be a little too hands on so this time she was given some refrigerator boxes to build a house with. It is every little kids dream project.  

She even had this cute little booster seat that she could sit on in her house.

We even got her some crayons to add her own decorations and personal touches. 

Peek a Boo!

Jordyn got her bangs trimmed up for our family pictures.  This was the first time that I actually put her in the cape.  She loved it! She did great and did amazing holding still for the hair cut, better then most 4 year olds that I have cut.  

 Getting the cape on, Kenlee of course wants a picture with sister.

Well that is the end of summer and we are excited to see what fall brings and what holiday memories that we can make together as a family.
